I don't have a lot of time today
and I want to share some very important stuff so I'm jumping right
into it...
Last Monday I recorded the most amazing teleclass with Paul Binkley and
Aaron Torres. These 2 guys from Ohio have been using the Modern Jedi

For weeks I've been battling computer issues and video issues and
sound issues in order to put together a simple, easy to follow
explanation
of NLP submodalities. I've described some of these fast powerful
change tools in past newsletters but I wanted to take it to the next
level.

A few weeks ago one of my dearest friends and mentors, Gar Rowbothem
passed away after a long struggle related to a kidney transplant.
I first got to know Gar when I stumbled into his office at the
Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce in the Fall of 2004. I had
just moved to
New Haven, didn't know anybody, and was desperate for help in
growing my NLP practice. I knew NLP but I didn't know how to market
it or run a business.
No one in CT seemed to have heard of NLP much less considered "going
to an NLP practitioner"
But Gar HAD! He looked at me and saw my pain, reached out to me and
was willing to come and personally experience my NLP breakthrough
sessions.
We worked to clear deep issues of grief that he had from losing his
entire family to heart disease. And his own healing journey as a
recipient of a heart transplant and a kidney transplant.
And we became close friends.
Getting to know Gar was one of the highest privileges I've had as a
practitioner and as a business person. He befriended me when I truly
needed a friend.
Gar was one of my greatest supporters and would call me up when he
had struggling chamber members in his office. "Mark I'm here with so and
so and I think he needs to come work with you. His business is not
going to grow until he clears up some of his own inner road
blocks..." Then he'd put the person on the phone and I'd have a new
client (and another new friend).
Gar will be deeply missed in my life. And at this time my thoughts
go out to his family.
To honor his memory I will be offering a scholarship to my July
Modern Jedi NLP Certification.
More details to follow. But if you have been thinking about taking
